HuLoop Release 49 – Version 6.5.46
Release Date: July 23, 2025
New Features & Enhancements
- Seamlessly connect HuLoop test cases to Azure DevOps
This new capability allows you to associate HuLoop test cases directly with Azure DevOps test cases, keeping manual and automated test plans aligned. Updates made in HuLoop automatically reflect in Azure, eliminating manual syncs and reducing errors. Whether you’re managing regression packs or preparing for audits, this integration helps teams move faster with greater accuracy and control. - Reliable reporting for high-volume test runs
HuLoop now generates XML-based reports directly on the server, improving performance and eliminating memory constraints when processing large-scale automation results. - Secure and streamline automation with CLI token authentication
HuLoop now allows users to create time-bound access tokens from their profile settings for CLI executions. These tokens are securely masked and automatically linked to your console run settings, reducing reliance on passwords. This enhancement strengthens authentication practices, simplifies setup for unattended execution, and aligns with enterprise-grade security standards.
Quality & Reliability Improvements
This release continues our commitment to delivering a robust, dependable automation platform. Key updates ensure smoother execution, stronger test control, and enhanced reporting clarity, empowering teams to scale confidently and work more efficiently.
Automation Reliability
- Executable steps run consistently in complex workflows. The Run Utility executes .exe files reliably, improving consistency in complex workflows.
- Stronger object detection for image-based steps. Autoheal now accurately identifies and maintains image-based button locators across sessions, minimizing test maintenance.
- Faster, more accurate redaction. Enhanced logic enables redacting sensitive data while preserving key portions (e.g., last four digits), with quicker processing times.
- Reliable PDF conversion. Converting CSV or Excel files into PDF now produces complete, readable documents without data loss.
IDP & Extraction Stability
- IDP handles high volumes effortlessly. Optimized memory use ensures smooth document extraction, even in large-scale workloads.
- Reliable extraction results across systems. Output is now consistently written to the correct folders across environments, supporting multi-server reliability.
Test Execution Control
- Greater control over Autoheal behavior. Verification steps now follow Autoheal settings precisely, improving test predictability.
- Test execution respects failure rules. The platform now reliably enforces hard-stop behavior, reducing the risk of misleading test results.
- Clearer execution of conditional logic. IF/ENDIF sequences evaluate as expected, maintaining logic integrity within test cases.
Reporting & Visibility
- Faster, more resilient report generation. Large-scale automation runs now complete with reduced memory usage and quicker access to results.
- Immediate access to execution reports. Reports are visible immediately after successful execution, supporting better audit and traceability.
- Reliable delivery of summary reports. Confirmation messages and summary reports are now delivered reliably after every run.
- Trusted visibility through dashboard metrics. Automation metrics now show only verified user actions, ensuring trustworthy usage insights.
- Full browser interactions captured. The Web Recorder now logs every step post-URL launch, simplifying script creation for UI flows.
Known Issues
The following are known behaviors in this release that may affect a limited set of users. These are under active review by the HuLoop team.
- In select projects, web reports may not appear after execution even though the automation completes successfully. This issue is isolated and being addressed as a priority.
- In rare cases, if a Run Setting is stopped midway during the first attempt and then rerun, the web report may not generate. A fix is being evaluated for inclusion in an upcoming release.
Compatibility & Requirements
There are no environment changes, version dependencies, or browser limitations in this release. Existing configurations continue to be fully supported.
