Version 8.1.0

New Features

  • HuGO Agent, Powered by Claude: Users can now use Claude inside of the general HuGO Agent to create automations. Claude will turn the user’s input into a zip file to be imported into an automation.

  • Nintex Migration Tool: The Nintex Migration Tool found within our new Agentic Operations module converts RPA files (Nintex Automation) into Process Automation files. These project files can be imported into HuLoop, analyzed, and executed within the platform.

  • THE CLEARCELL Action: A new CLEARCELL action has been implemented, allowing the contents of a specified cell or range of cells in an open Excel workbook to be cleared as part of an automation.

  • The CLOSEWORKBOOK Action: Closes an open Excel workbook during an automation. You can choose whether to save changes before closing, and the action returns a value for use in later automation steps.

  • The CLOSEDATA Action: Closes an open data source connection, such as a CSV or other data file, during an automation.

  • The INCREASEVARIABLE Action: Adds a given amount to a numeric variable, typically for loop counters.

  • The FORMULA Action: Twelve new math functions, including Statistics: average, max, min, median, Arithmetic: power, round, int, sqr, Formatting: zerofill, and Trigonometry: sin, cos, tan.

  • The SETFIELD Action: An action that writes a value into a UI field, form control, or data field. Can be done with existing HuLoop actions, ENTER/TYPE, SELECT, CHECK/UNCHECK, and SET combined with ENTER/TYPE.

  • The LABEL Action: A new LABEL action that defines a named jump target within a botflow, allowing the GOTOLABEL action to navigate directly to it.

  • The GOTOLABEL Action: An action that jumps to a named Label step within the same case. This supports both forward and backward jumps, enabling loops and retries.

  • The SETERRORTASK Action: Retries the preceding step up to the configured limit (0–5). If all retries fail, it runs the specified error-handling task, logging the error, capturing a screenshot, or sending a notification.

  • The CLEARERRORTASK Action: Removes all error-handling guards set by SETERRORTASK, preventing subsequent step failures from triggering an error-handling task. If no guards are configured, no action is taken.

  • The DELETELIST Action: Removes lists created by CREATELIST. It supports four selection modes: Selected, All Except Selected, All, and Exact List, allowing you to delete specific lists, all lists except selected ones, all eligible lists, or a single list resolved at runtime.

  • The GETLISTINFO Action: Retrieves metadata from an existing list and stores the result in the step’s Element Key. Supported options include column count, row count, column name (by column index), and list type (Custom List or File & Folder List).

  • The OPENLIST Action: Imports data from CSV/Text, Excel, or fixed-width files and creates a list for use throughout the botflow. The imported data is stored as a JSON array of text-based values and can be used by actions such as Loop and Get List Info.

  • The GOTOTOP Action: An action that always jumps to the first step of the current use case. The action requires no configuration and is included in the Flow Navigation group.

  • The GOTOBOTTOM Action: An action that always jumps to the last step of the current use case. The action requires no configuration, serves as the counterpart to GOTOTOP, and is included in the Flow Navigation group.

  • The GOTOENDCASE Action: Ends the called case immediately and skips all remaining steps within that case. In the current implementation, execution transfers to the final step of the called case, executes that step, and then exits the case.

  • The CREATELIST Action: Creates an empty runtime list with defined fields (for example, CustomerId and Email) and returns a reference to the new list. Subsequent list actions can add, update, retrieve, or delete records.

  • The FILEEXISTS Action: Adds a File Exists function to the File Handler category of the SET action. It checks whether a file exists at the specified path and stores the result (true or false) in the target variable. Invalid or malformed paths do not generate an error and return false.

  • The FOLDEREXISTS Action: Added a File Exists function to the File Handler category of the SET action. The function checks whether a file exists at a specified path and stores the result (true or false) in the target variable. Invalid or malformed paths return false and do not generate an error.

  • The MOVEFILE Action: Adds a moveFile option to the File handler Functions category of the existing SET action. It moves a file from a source path to a destination folder and returns true or false.

  • The CLEARVARIABLE Action: Removes the current value from one or more variables without removing them from scope. Variables can be cleared individually, except selected variables, or all eligible variables

  • The CLOSEWINDOW Action: An action that closes an application window that matches the window title you enter in the parameter section.

  • The CLOSETAB Action: Closes a specified tab in a browser or tabbed application window without affecting other open tabs. Tabs can be targeted by index or title, and the action returns a clear error if the specified tab cannot be found.

  • The MINIMIZEWINDOW Action: Minimizes a specified external application window by title. Minimize Window supports window disambiguation when multiple windows have similar titles and returns a clear error if the target window cannot be found.

  • The RESTOREWINDOW Action: Restores a specified external application window from a minimized state. The action returns the window to its previous size and position, does nothing if the window is already restored, and returns a clear error if the target window cannot be found.

  • The MINIMIZEME Action: Minimizes the automation application’s own window.

  • The MOUSESEQUENCE Action: Records a sequence of mouse actions and turn it into steps, for both Web and Desktop applications.

  • The MOVEHIGHLIGHT Action: Moves the highlighted cell in a web table relative to its current position and returns the updated position. The action is stateless and relies on the current position and specified movement direction as inputs.

  • The STARTHIGHLIGHT Action: A Start Highlight action for web tables. You point it at a table with a locator, and it returns the row and column of that cell, with a true or false result with a reason on failure.

  • The SETSPEED Action: Replaces each Set Speed action with a Wait step.

  • The CLEARHIGHLIGHT Action: Removes the highlight placed on a web table cell by Start Highlight.

  • The SETLISTVALUE Action: This action writes a value to a specified list cell. It supports variables and expressions, can target a specific, first, or last row, optionally creates missing rows, and returns a true/false result indicating success.

  • The SENDLISTTOEXCEL Action: Writes a list to an open Excel workbook, starting at a specified cell.

  • The CLEARLISTCOLUMN Action: Empties a single column of a list while leaving the rest of the list intact.
