HuLoop Release 64 – Version 7.0.21

Release Date: March 6, 2026

New Features & Enhancements

This release introduces enhancements that improve the usability, flexibility, and visibility of key HuLoop capabilities. Updates in this release focus on simplifying automation development, improving workflow management, and providing better insights into document processing and AI usage. Together, these improvements help teams build automations more efficiently, maintain workflows with greater clarity, and better understand resource usage when working with document extraction and AI-powered processes.

Automation Builder Usability Improvements

Function Descriptions in Selection Dropdown: The function selection experience in the automation builder has been enhanced to provide additional context when choosing functions. Descriptions are now available as tooltips within the function selection dropdown, allowing users to view brief explanations while browsing available functions. This improvement helps users better understand the purpose of each function and supports more informed selection during automation development.

Automation Design Experience Improvements

Inline Comment Visibility for Automation Steps: The automation builder interface has been enhanced to allow comments to be viewed directly alongside individual automation steps. Users can toggle the display of comments to review contextual notes without opening the comments panel for each step. This improvement makes it easier to understand step logic, and maintain automations more efficiently, particularly for complex or long-running automation configurations.

Automation Execution Flexibility Enhancements

Step-Level Locator Timeout Configuration: Automation steps that interact with UI elements can now be configured with their own step-level locator timeout settings. This enhancement allows users to define how long the system should wait for a specific element to appear at the step level, while maintaining the existing global timeout defined in project settings. By enabling step-specific wait behavior, this update provides greater flexibility when automating processes where different actions may require varying response times.

Content Processing Enhancements

Automated Table Updates in Word Documents: A new action has been introduced under the Word Document Handler Functions to enable automations to update table cells within Microsoft Word documents. This capability allows automations to mark table entries, such as indicating correct or incorrect results, based on user-defined criteria during automation execution. In addition, Word document validation capabilities have been expanded within the same function set to support actions such as verifying watermarks and detecting strike-through text. Together, these enhancements help streamline document validation, reporting, and review processes while reducing manual effort.

AI Usage Insights Enhancements

Token Price Visibility for Document Extraction: The Transparency Sandbox environment now includes a new comparison metric that displays the token price per extraction. This allows users to better understand the token consumption associated with document extraction tasks when using different AI models. By providing clearer visibility into token usage and related costs, this enhancement helps users make more informed decisions when testing and optimizing extraction workflows.

Workflow Usability Enhancement

Improved Workflow Template List Visibility: The Workflow template list has been updated to reduce visual clutter and help users focus on active workflows. By default, the list now displays only enabled templates (both Draft and Published). Templates that are disabled are hidden from the default view and can be revealed on demand using a “Show Disabled” toggle in the filters section. When displayed, disabled templates are visually de-emphasized to clearly indicate that they are not active. This enhancement helps keep the workflow list focused on usable templates while still allowing users to access disabled workflows when needed.

Quality & Reliability Improvements

This release includes a series of enhancements focused on strengthening the stability, reliability, and overall consistency of the HuLoop platform. These updates improve platform behavior across areas such as authentication, session management, automation execution, reporting, content processing, and workflow visibility.

Platform Stability and Access

  • Improved Platform Accessibility and Login Reliability: Platform connectivity and authentication handling have been refined to support more consistent access through both the Desktop Agent and the web interface.
  • Improved Stability for Dynamic Form Manager Access: Enhancements help ensure reliable loading and access to Dynamic Form Manager configurations across environments.

Session Management

  • Improved Session Stability Across Web and Agent Interfaces: Session management behavior has been refined to provide a more stable experience when working across the browser and Desktop Agent environments.

Automation Reporting and Visibility

  • Improved Stability for Detailed Execution Reports: Configuration handling for detailed execution reports has been refined to ensure the “Show Detailed Report” setting is saved and retained correctly.
  • Improved Reliability When Opening Execution Reports in New Browser Tabs: Execution reports now load more reliably when opened in a new browser tab from historical reporting views.

Automation Execution Reliability

  • Improved Reliability for Conditional Logic Evaluation: Conditional logic evaluation has been refined to ensure actions within IF statements execute consistently when conditions are met.
  • Improved Handling for Dropdown Selection in Automated Workflows: Enhancements improve consistency when selecting dropdown values during automated execution across application environments.

Content Processing

  • Improved Consistency in PDF Document Splitting During Batch Processing: Document splitting behavior has been refined to support more predictable outcomes when processing multiple PDFs within the same automation run.

Test Suite Management

  • Improved Visibility and Management of Included Test Suites: Included suites now display consistently in the Included Suites section after being added, helping users clearly view and manage suite dependencies.

Data Extraction and Integration

  • Improved Reliability for Green Screen Data Extraction: Updates to the underlying processing components strengthen the reliability of data extraction from green screen applications.

Workflow Experience

  • Improved Workflow Dashboard Visibility After Upgrades: Enhancements ensure the Workflow option appears consistently on the dashboard when the feature is enabled after platform upgrades.

Compatibility & Requirements

There are no environment changes, version dependencies, or browser limitations in this release. Existing configurations continue to be fully supported.
