Introduction
What is Workflow?
A workflow in HuLoop is a structured, repeatable sequence of tasks, activities, and decision points used to automate business processes and achieve a specific outcome. It connects tasks, decisions, and actions in a logical order, from start to finish, so that the work moves smoothly between people or systems. Each workflow can include tasks assigned to individuals or groups, conditions that guide the flow, and variables that store information throughout the process.
In addition to user-driven tasks and decision-based routing, workflows can also trigger automated processes using Intelligent Process Automation (IPA). This allows workflows to run automation projects automatically at specific points in the process, helping teams combine human tasks and system-driven automation into a single, end-to-end workflow.
You can design workflows using a drag-and-drop interface, with no coding required. This makes it easy to create, manage, and improve business processes across teams.
When to Use It?
Workflows can support a wide range of processes based on your unique business needs. For example, use a workflow when you want to:
- Automate repetitive tasks or approvals
- Standardize processes across departments
- Ensure timely follow-ups and task completion
- Route forms or data based on specific conditions
- Track task status and streamline communication, and so on
