Getselected command is used to get the first selected option from a drop down and assigns the text value to variable mentioned in parameter section.

Select GETSELECTED command from the action drop down, select desired Screen name, Element key of the drop down and provide the variable name which will store the selected item of the drop down list in parameter section as shown below:
